
Ravi Mohan says he won’t return to acting until divorce is finalised with Aarti Ravi
Tamil actor Ravi Mohan said he won’t be acting until his divorce with estranged wife Aarti Ravi is finalised. In an emotional press conference, the actor said that the day his “personal life gets better” and when he stops facing “the wrath of cyberbullying”, he would resume his career.

“I am proud of my career so far. I have won prestigious awards. I don’t need to prove my caliber to anybody. I thank those who stood by me in this journey,” said the actor. The press conference on May 16, 2026 (Saturday) addressed his troubled relationship with Aarti Ravi. Ravi said that he is extremely destressed that he has been “stopped from meeting his two sons.
The Thani Oruvan star announced his split with Aarti in September 2024. The couple’s separation has turned into a public feud, with both parties commenting on their relationship on social media.
Ravi Mohan indicated that his career and personal life have been disrupted by Aarti Ravi. He further added that he will be taking action against those who caused him trouble with cyberbullying.
The Jayam actor’s press conference comes on the back of reports of Keneesha Francis announcing her split from Ravi Mohan. Keneesha, singer and psychologist, was reported to be in a relationship with the actor.
In a statement on Instagram, Keneesha wrote, “To the public, the cinema industry, the commentators, the people who love him, dislike him, defend him, mock him, or claim ownership over his life – he is now all yours. There will be no more explanations. No more defending. No more fighting battles that were never mine to carry in the first place.”

“I was stupid to think that good people needed a chance to live and support in that realm is the best one can do. But I understand, that this is place is only for liars, cheaters, manipulators and life extorters. And so, I release him with peace, with love, and with complete detachment. I release all my responsibilities that were signed up for as well.”
Keneesha had also posted a video, saying she faced online hate before her account was hacked. During the press conference, Ravi Mohan said that Keneesha was also a victim of cyberbullying. “I wish her the best, but those who were involved in cyberbullying will not be spared,” he said.
