
Safran ties up with Uni Tritech for production of LEAP engine parts

An employee of French aerospace and defence engine maker Safran controls the production the production of metal parts in an ultrasonic tankt at the Safran Aircraft Engines plant in Gennevilliers, a northern Paris’ suburb.

Safran Aircraft Engines, which is into aircraft propulsion systems, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Uni Tritech Private Ltd., a Neterwala Group company, to manufacture components for the CFM LEAP engine programme.
Under this agreement, Uni Tritech will start production of aluminum investment cast parts for the LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B engines at its facility in Dharwad, Karnataka (India).
