BEL registers turnover of ₹26,750 crore in FY 2025-26, growth of 16.2%

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has achieved a turnover of around ₹26,750 crore (provisional and unaudited), during the Financial Year 2025-26, against the previous year’s turnover of ₹23,024 crore, registering a growth of 16.2%.

This includes export sales of around $141.9 million during FY 2025-26, as against the previous year’s export turnover of $106.17 million, registering a growth of 33.65%.

During the fiscal year 2025-26, BEL secured orders worth ₹30,000 crore, including export orders worth $346 million.

Some of the major orders received during the year in defence were Avionics for LCA, Mountain Radars, EW suite for helicopters, Air Defence Radars, EOIR Payloads for Airborne and Naval platforms, EW systems for naval platforms, Fire Control and Sighting System for tanks, Mobile Communication Terminal, Network systems, Counter Unmanned Aerial System, Upgrades, Spares and Services.

The major orders in the non-defence sector include communication equipment, IT Infra for AIIMS, Airport Surveillance Radar, software solutions, Automatic Train Supervision System, and EVM.

On the export front, the major orders received include communication equipment, satellite communication network, TR modules, electronic fuzes, and drones.

As on April 1, 2026, the total order book of BEL stood at around ₹74,000 crore, including an export order book of $495 million.

Manoj Jain, Chairman and Managing Director of BEL, said that the geopolitical incidents during the year and ongoing conflict in West Asia has highlighted the need for self-reliance in strategic sectors, and the importance of a resilient domestic industrial defence ecosystem.

BEL continues to focus on indigenisation by reducing dependency on imports and strengthening domestic supply chains while simultaneously focusing on future-ready technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity, Advanced Electronic Warfare & Communication Systems, and Autonomous Platforms. These strategic initiatives will enable BEL to capture emerging opportunities in both domestic and global markets,” Mr. Jain said.
