Woman kills policeman’s wife, minor son over refused live-in demand

A 27-year-old woman in Chhattisgarh’s Durg stabbed to death the wife and minor son of a police constable she is in a relationship with, said the police on Saturday (April 25, 2026). A minor daughter of the policeman was also injured as she tried to save her family members.

It is alleged that the accused woman Sarojni Bharadwaj wanted to move in with Special Task Force (STF) constable Lalitesh Yadav in the same house where he lived with his wife and three children and where the incident took place.
