Watch: Inside Vijay’s ‘Leo’-inspired cafe in Kashmir
Sifar Cafe in Anantnag district, 40 kilometres from Pahalgam in South Kashmir, has become the epicentre of tourists from South India. It is the exact location where the new Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay’s 2023 hit film Leo was shot.
In the week since he assumed the role as Chief Minister, Sifar has seen a 90% spike in tourists from Tamil Nadu. Visitors throng the location, recreating Vijay’s walk. They also order ‘chocolate coffee’, a famous device used in the film to further the plot.
