Varun Dhawan’s ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ postponed after Yash’s ‘Toxic’ gets delayed

As Kannada superstar Yash’s Toxic got delayed from its June 4 release date, Varun Dhawan’s Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai has been pushed back to its original release date of June 5, the actor announced on Thursday (April 29, 2026).

The romantic-comedy was earlier set to be released on May 22 to avoid the clash with Yash’s actioner. Sharing a new poster from the film, Varun wrote in caption, “JUNE 5 TH 2026 in theatres. Thankful to @thenameisyash and @maddockfilms for helping us reset the calendar as our film hai jawani toh ishq hona hai will now release on its original date. The first film to release post ipl.”
