The Whole Story: A powerful showcase of Dalit art, identity, and resistance at Lalit Kala Akademi

BR Ambedkar said, “Freedom of mind is the real freedom.” In the context of art, it takes on another meaning — art that sparks dialogue, that quietly resists, and, in doing so, becomes an act of revolution. Over the next few days, the walls of Lalit Kala Akademi stands as a testament to this spirit, marking Dalit History Month. 

Organised by Neelam Cultural Centre and titled The Whole Story, the exhibition brings together installations, paintings, and even an animation showcase, featuring the works of 36 Dalit artists from Neelam Arts Collective, as part of the Vaanam Art Festival.
