South Korea’s Jeongwoo Ham consolidated his position at the summit of the leaderboard, extending his advantage to four strokes in the third round of the Singapore Open here on Saturday.
At the par-71 Sentosa Golf Club Serapong course, India’s biggest hope Gaganjeet Bhullar slipped to tied-fifth, a place he shared with Ahmad Baig of Pakistan – one of the best performers of the day – and Jazz Janewattananond from Thailand.
Ham, who had held a two-shot cushion at the halfway stage of the International Series event, carded three-under 68 for a total score of 13-under 200. Having created a stir in the first two rounds, the Korean ensured that two bogeys – on holes four and 11 – did not come back to haunt him.
