WWE 2K26: A good wrestling game with predatory microtransactions

Today, a full price tag to buy a game upfront is not enough to guarantee a full game. After all, to earn and survive, many companies launch extra paid content, while others have loot and cosmetics as extras. Sports games are usually prime targets, which is alright as long as the commerce does not impact gameplay.

Still, some games get it right, such as EA’s FC Series, in my opinion. However, games such as WWE 2k26 go to extremes and it feels they are milking fans for a passion tax.
