Yo-yo dieting
I wish to draw attention to a growing public health concern fuelled by social media: the dangerous trend of “yo-yo dieting”. Today, the Internet is saturated with unverified information that traps individuals in a vicious cycle of rapidly losing and regaining weight, posing severe risks to their long-term well-being. There are health issues associated with this on-and-off dieting culture, the main being the lack of proper nutrition. Undertaking fad diets without a fundamental knowledge of nutritional science leads to critical deficiencies. As an avid marathon runner who understands the importance of physical endurance, it is alarming to see people sacrificing vital muscle mass under the misguided belief that they are losing fat.

CSK, then and now
It is sad to see Chennai Super Kings struggling in IPL 2026 as well. There is a lack of powerplay intent, and a difficult transition to a new-look squad. CSK is not the same side it was a few years ago. Sadly, for the ‘Whistle Podu Army’, the signature roar is subdued.
