Jana Nayagan: T.N. police launch probe into leak of TVK leader Vijay’s film

The Cyber Crime Wing of the Tamil Nadu Police has registered a case and launched an investigation into the leak of the Tamil film Jana Nayagan, starring actor and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) president Vijay.

The police action comes following a complaint by R. Udayakumar, production controller of KVN Productions, who sought immediate intervention against the illegal leak, unlawful downloading, transmission, and circulation of the film, which is yet to be released in theatres. He also sought the urgent blocking of the content on social media, preservation of digital evidence, and criminal action against those involved.
