City Union Bank Q3 PAT rises 16% to ₹332 cr.

City Union Bank Ltd. reported third-quarter net profit grew 16% year-on-year to ₹332 crore while net interest income surged 28% to ₹752 crore

Net Interest Margin stood at 3.89% for the quarter compared with 3.58% a year earlier.

The bank made a provision of ₹468 crore as against ₹402 crore in the same period last year.

Total deposits rose 21% to ₹70,516 crore while total advances also increased by 21% for the quarter to ₹60,892 crore.

The Gross NPA for the quarter was reduced to 2.17% from 3.36% in the corresponding

quarter last financial year. GNPA had shown sequential decrease for the past 11 quarters.

Net NPA decreased to 0.78% in the current quarter from 1.42% in the year earlier period.

The NNPA had come below the ₹500 crore mark and stood at ₹469 crore.
